Teton's orginal product line was stained foreign hardwoods. After a few years production, Teton switched to a basecoat / printed / embossed prefinishing process. Still the mainstay of our production, our printed / embossed millwork leads the industry in precise color matches to doors, repeatability of color from order to order, and in quality and durability of coatings.
Teton's traditional millwork colors are matched to individual door skins. A great deal of pride is taken in the art and precision of our matches; they are consistently the best in the business.
Much of our success with matches (outside of the exactness of our colors, which are custom mixed in-house) is due to our printer/embosser being in register. All prints and the emboss are layered to match each other, as opposed to being applied randomly. This total grain effect helps coordinate the mouldings to the door. Teton millwork also features 3-6 print colors, providing depth and realistic appearance that is not available in prefinished millwork with one print color.
Teton's coatings are engineered to achieve maximum coverage and durability. All substrates are filled and buffed before the application of the basecoat. Our paint and topcoat are high quality products, and are baked on to provide what we believe to be the finest finish in the industry.
Teton's traditional millwork is available in finger-joint or MDF substrates.
