Touch-Up
One of the obvious benefits of using Non-Invasive Installation is that there is not wholesale touch-up to be performed on a myriad of nail holes.
However, damage to doors and millwork is bound to occur occasionally. These areas can be repaired by several methods.
There are two sticks available. The Mean Streak by the Sanford Corporation is available at most office supply stores. Also available is a wax crayon manufactured for and available from Teton Sales Company. Both work well, with some installers noting a preference for one or the other. Both are applied to the damaged area, then wiped with a clean rag and mineral spirits.
For actual paint cover up, DuraWhite paint is available from Teton in quart, gallon or 5 gallon quantities. Note that brush strokes are difficult to hide on the smooth factory finish of DuraWhite millwork and doors.
